Since 1996 Chirp has assisted hundreds of San Francisco Bay Area families hire best-fit nannies while creating close relationships with nannies that have qualities and characteristics to fit a family’s particular needs. Chirp’s founder, Alyce Desrosiers, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and brings over 20 years of clinical experience working with families and children to the nanny-hiring process. This combination of education, training, research and personal experience and intuition has helped her succeed in supporting hundreds of families hire their best-fit nanny since the early 90’s. In addition to starting Chirp (formerly Desrosiers & Associates LLC) Alyce has assisted in the startup of a successful Bay Area childcare center for parents working non traditional hours, facilitated numerous workshops, authored two books on hiring a nanny and written a plethora of articles covering a range of issues about the nanny hiring process and idiosyncrasies of the nanny/parent/child relationship.
