My name is Robin. I am 28 years old, live in south Asheville NC, and am currently devoted to my apprenticeship in the art of holistic and conscious living, including working with environmental projects. I have a great deal of experience with children, as I am the oldest of many younger cousins, all ages and have been the designated babysitter for most of life. I have a sister 11 years younger than me, who I have helped home school and have nannied for friends and neighbors whenever needed. Since moving to Asheville in the summer of 2012, I have been doing occasional sitting for various families who were referred to me by friends. I've become certified to work with special needs children, and was a respite worker for an 11 year boy with autism, for just under a year. I have also been nannying consistently, since August 2013, for a family with their daughter who is now 3 1/2 years old. I feel being a living role model is vital for a child's development, but also remember that children have a lot to teach me about life as well. After all, the most intelligent, and vibrant part of myself is my inner child. Please note that I do have access to a vehicle when needed.
