I have been babysitting since the age of 12, and absolutley love children. All through highschool and now college I have focused my life on helping others. I volunteered my time with young children at my church and a local club for families affected with cancer. I am currently a responcible Freshman at Penn State making my education one of the most important things to me.
In high school I was taught CPR and first aid training, I also took a early childhood class where we simulated having a newborn child. Not only have those courses helped me prepare for being a baby-sitter but the experience I have is what has truly taught me! I have worked with many families babysitting their children from 3 months to 14 years old.
In High School I volunteered my time at Gilda's Club in Warminster in the "Noogie Land" area which was focused on watching the young children. While I volunteered my time watching the children I also got really involved with planning themed parties that included many arts and crafts. I personally love to craft myself so getting other people enthusiastic about it really makes my day especially if it is children.
