Biography:

NOW ENROLLING at Zip-A-De-Do-Daycare. We are a small family home daycare located in Brambleton. I will be providing care for no more than 4 children at a time, including my son. Childcare is my passion and I have started this daycare to give parents a place to send their children where they know they will receive individualized attention and they will be able to grow and learn in a small safe family environment. I will treat every child with compassion and provide a loving environment for them.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from George Mason University. During my last year in college I was a nanny for a family with 3 children (ages 8 months, 2 and 3). I also babysat for twin boys at the same time from the age of 1 month. After graduating I moved home to New York to be a nanny for my niece. I took on this job from when she was born until she turned 17 months at which point I moved back to VA for a job opportunity as an Administrative Assistant with a small company based out of Arlington, VA. Because of my strong work ethic and reliability, I quickly was promoted to Office Manager and have been employed there through my maternity leave. In October 2013 I was employed there for 4 years and in November I went out on maternity leave for the birth of my son. While on maternity leave I decided I wanted to go back to doing what I loved most which is caring for children. I love watching little minds grow, my goal is to provide your child with a clean, safe, comfortable environment where they can play and learn with guidance and loving care while they are in my care.
